I’m a big believer in the powerful connection between mind and body. When we’re not fit, it’s hard to live life to the fullest. While exercise and a healthy lifestyle are linked to longer lifespans, the biggest benefit for me is how energized and strong I feel each day—it helps me get more out of life, moment by moment.
I’m a certified Group Exercise Instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), with additional certifications in yoga and Zumba. I’ve taught a wide range of classes, from dance and Pilates to weight training and alpine fitness.
I currently teach regularly at both the YMCA and Movement, where I get to share my love of movement with diverse, motivated communities.
Many of my hobbies also keep me active— running, skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, kayaking, and karate are all part of how I stay connected to movement and vitality.
